To be frank, this is the best decaf we have come across. Unlike the standard decaf stigma - bitter | flavorless | burnt - Condor from El Vergel came across as the highest scoring on the cupping table that day. The green beans used in this decaf come from top lots offered by multiple partner farms we work with in the department of Tolima, Colombia. To create this decaf, the coffee goes through what is know as "EA process" or "Sugar Cane Processing," which allows the natural flavors to shine, while being more environmentally friendly than other processing methods. We noticed straight away an amazing milk chocolate sweetness, with a well pronounced undertone of mandarin and peach, which rounded out into a pleasant honey finish. Without a doubt, we would recommend this coffee to anyone, even those who don't prefer decaf, as well as those wanting an afternoon coffee without the kick.
