This amazing Mexican coffee comes by way of San Cristobal Coffee Importers. Located about an hour west of the city Tepic, is El Cuarenteño. The village is up in the foothills of the Sierra de San Juan Mountains, in the state of Nayarit. There are approximately 25 men and 8 women who cultivate the coffee on this 50 hectare plot of land. We instantly noticed a beautiful dark chocolate flavor at first sip, followed by a peach, citrus, and caramel aftertaste. This coffee makes for a perfect daily morning pour over or a well balanced espresso.
